Job Description:

The Trade Desk is changing the way global brands and their agencies advertise to audiences around the world. How? With a media buying platform that helps brands deliver a more insightful and relevant ad experience for consumers -- and sets a new standard for global reach, accuracy, and transparency. We are proud of the culture we have built. We value the unique experiences and perspectives that each person brings to The Trade Desk, and we are committed to fostering inclusive spaces where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work every day.
So, if you are talented, driven, creative, and eager to join a dynamic, globally-connected team, then we want to talk!
Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a Product Manager who can come help us drive our thriving ad-tech business to the next level. We highly value people who learn fast, who are humble, and can drive results through incredible teamwork and bridge building. If you deeply believe you can make our customers' world a much better place, then this may be the opportunity for you. The ideal candidate will be technical, data-driven, creative, business savvy, and love elegant user experiences. They will be growth-oriented and able to strive for product-market fit with their teams.
The kind of person who joins The Trade Desk Product Management Team is fearless, courageous, passionate, and willing to dream big and then execute on it. We are committed to helping you grow, challenging you with hard, meaningful work, and celebrating our successes and failures together. Yes, we do fail at times because we believe the risk is part of making big bets. So we take the risks and learn from them. We also value strong leadership, asking our PMs to take on large, ambitious, and often ambiguous projects that can help extend our lead in the industry.
What You Will Be Doing:
As a Product Manager on the Core Workflows team, you will be the pivotal link between executive stakeholders, engineers, researchers, and UX designers. You will champion a user-centric approach, deeply understanding and advocating for user needs and preferences. Your decisions will be data-driven, rooted in analytics and user insights. Additionally, you will align your strategies with our company's core values and long-term objectives. You will need to navigate ambiguous situations to establish clarity through well-defined execution plans. This role also entails collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategic product roadmaps that align with business goals and user needs.
Job Requirements:

  • 6+ years of Product Management experience
  • Ability to tackle large initiatives. These are strategic investments and real business growth opportunities that deliver short- or long-term revenue for the company.
  • They also have a strategic view of our business and drive impact in advancing our platform and assuring that it is highly performing, reliable and healthy.
  • They have a deep sense of ownership for the product and the business. They are continuing to increase their expert level competencies. They are expert problem solvers and create vision and urgency in their team and group.
  • This person is a proactive and highly effective communicator. They coordinate very effectively across teams and anticipate issues ahead of time. They have a clear grasp of what it means to build an MVP, and then how to refine that towards product market fit.
