Checkr has over 100,000 customers including DoorDash, Coinbase, Lyft, Instacart, and Airtable.Reporting into the Director of Product Quality Operations, the Senior Manager, Operations (QA) will be responsible for overseeing a large team of global compliance professionals, ensuring optimal performance, productive collaboration, and the consistent delivery of high-quality services for Checkr and its customers.The Senior Manager will also play a key strategic role in managing and streamlining compliance-based workflows and processes that directly support Checkr's products and customer base. This will be a highly cross-functional role that will collaborate closely with Operations, Product & Engineering, and Legal, as well as external vendors.This role will be based in our Denver, Colorado hub.What you'll do

• Lead and manage a global workforce of 50+ team members responsible for industry compliance, system accuracy, and general product operations
• Own key performance metrics like turnaround time and quality that directly influence department and company top-line goals
• Use data to proactively optimize processes, creatively solve problems and track results to ensure maximum possible accuracy of team's work
• Drive continuous improvement in team decision-making and processes, and deliver remediation plans
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and investigate complex compliance risk issues and solve problems at the root causes
• Communicate cross-functionally to ensure timely resolutions and information integrity. Ideate and execute on improvements for current processes, systems, and tools in partnership with Operations, Product, and Legal teams.What you bring
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Demonstrated experience in hiring, managing, and developing high-performing teams
  • Experience leading with global teams, including business process outsourcing
  • Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for innovation, quality, compliance, and improving the customer experience
  • Knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and related employment laws, and background check industry or trust & safety experience is preferredWhat you'll get
